Friends of the Westbrook Band

The Westbrook Intermediate School Band Boosters is an organization of friends and family of band members who support the activities of the band.  Parents are encouraged to participate in the students’ musical experience.  Boosters provide chaperones to contests and field trips and work with band directors in planning social activates, helping to make band even more fun.  In addition, boosters fundraise for private lesson financial aid, clinicians, and equipment needs for the band which is not covered by CCISD.

Financially, band is a unique endeavor.  The W.I.S. band members are in need of your support.  Last year boosters provided over $4000 for private instruction financial aid, provided numerous clinicians, helped with the cost of solo and ensemble contest, and purchased an instrument.  We hope to do as well or better this year.

The W.I.S band booster club family memberships are $25.  All money raised through membership goes directly to the band.  To join, please print and then fill out a booster membership form and send it with you child to school.
