Rick Brockway

Rick Brockway is the director of bands at Westbrook Intermediate School in Clear Creek ISD.  Westbrook is the home of WAVE, the school district's gifted and talented magnet school. Mr. Brockway is in his twenty-fifth year of teaching.

Mr. Brockway received his Bachelor's of Music Education Degree from Henderson State University in Arkansas and his Master’s of Music Education Degree from the University of Houston.

Bands under Mr. Brockway’s direction have been consistent contest Sweepstakes Award winners. In 2007, the Westbrook Band was a Winner in the National Wind Band Honors Competition. Mr. Brockway's bands were state finalists five times in the Texas Music Educators Association Honor Band Competition. In 2009, his band was ranked third in state, and in 2011, his band was ranked first, and was named the 2012 Texas Honor Band out of a competitive field of more than 500 bands.

Mr. Brockway is a member of the Texas Music Adjudicator’s Association.  He is a frequent contest adjudicator.  He is married to Teri Brockway, who is also a band director in Clear Creek ISD. They have three daughters, Bailey, Morgan, and Jacy.


Maria Robichaud

Mrs. Robichaud is in her sixth year of teaching at Westbrook Intermediate.

A graduate of Texas State University- San Marcos, Mrs. Robichaud received her Bachelors in Music Education in 2005. While at Texas State University , she held principal flautist of the Wind Ensemble, principal flautist of the Symphony Orchestra, marched with the Pride of the Hill Country Marching band, and participated in the Texas State flute choir. Mrs. Robichaud recently received her Masters in Music Education from the University of Houston in 2011.

Mrs. Robichaud’s professional band affiliations include Texas Music Educators Association and Texas Bandmasters Association. In her free time, Mrs. Robichaud enjoys spending time with her husband and Winston, her puppy.


Keith Raney

Keith Raney is an associate band director at Westbrook, an intermediate school in Clear Creek ISD.  He received his Bachelor of Music degree, with an emphasis on teaching, from the University of Houston in 2007, and a Master of Science degree, with an emphasis on mid-management, from the University of Houston Clear Lake in 2010.

In his fifth year of teaching, he conducts the third band, who received superior ratings on stage at UIL concert and sight-reading for two consecutive years.  He also helps direct the second band, who consistently receives sweepstakes at UIL concert and sight-reading, and the top band, who received first place in the Texas Honor Band competition in 2011 and was named the 2012 Texas Honor Band.

Keith is a member of the Texas Music Educator’s Association.  Away from work, he enjoys camping, cooking, reading, and programming.
